Voting Question: Can any current physical therapists help me out? ?

I want to be a physical therapist and I'm looking over college choices. I've noticed that there are a limited number of colleges that actually give Physical Therapy, and most of those that I saw were in PA (Scranton, Temple, etc.). However, I heard that physical therapists can do a pre med type thing or something. I'm a little unsure of how this works, so if there are any physical therapists out there who could tell me this process works, I would be grateful. Also, give me reviews on colleges too.
